The Superior apartments are a step up in both space and finish, and the sweet spot for many of our guests. The signature upgrade is the bathroom: a bright en-suite with a rejuvenating rain shower and premium toiletries.

Most feature a super king-size bed for a little extra room to stretch out, dressed in the same hotel-quality linen throughout, and the living areas are a touch more generous, with a smart TV, fast wifi and a small curated book collection for a quiet evening in. Contemporary furnishings sit comfortably alongside the historic setting, and the apartment faces the tranquil courtyard garden at the heart of the old hospital, giving you a calm outlook in the centre of the city.

Most Superior apartments sleep two, making them ideal for couples and solo travellers who want a bit more comfort. One has a sofa bed in the living area and can sleep up to four, so there is flexibility if you are travelling with company. It is our most popular tier for good reason.

Our Standard apartments are the most pared-back option in the collection, and a genuinely comfortable base for a couple or solo traveller. Each is a self-contained one-bedroom home that sleeps two, with a king-size bed dressed in hotel-quality linen for a proper night's sleep.

The kitchen is fully equipped, whether you want to cook a full meal or just sort breakfast before heading out, and the open living and dining area gives you somewhere relaxed to unwind in the evening. The bathroom is sleek and stocked with premium toiletries. You will have a smart TV and fast wifi as standard, along with the clean, modern finish that runs through the whole redevelopment.

Every apartment faces the original courtyard garden, so even though you are moments from the middle of Bath, the feel inside is calm and quiet. The Deluxe apartments are the most spacious in the collection, designed for guests who want room to spread out. Each has a clever split-level or open-plan layout, with a super king-size bed in the bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed in the living area, sleeping up to four in total. This makes them a natural choice for families, small groups, or anyone settling in for a longer stay.

The living spaces are the real difference: larger, full of natural light, and finished with contemporary furnishings, a flat-screen TV and a curated book collection. The bathrooms are a highlight too. One Deluxe apartment offers a large bathtub and an additional WC, while others have generous en-suites with walk-in rain showers and double sinks, so there is a genuine sense of indulgence however you like to unwind.
